Hello ladies!
I've been wearing Caroline, my 22-month-old daughter, as much as possible around Frankfurt... in the month since we've been here, I'd only seen two Baby Bjorns until yesterday! A lady walked by me with her baby on her back in an Ergo. We smiled at each other - and I thought it was funny, that in the US we're so happy to be wearing German carriers - and here was a lady in Germany, wearing an American carrier!
Later that afternoon, Caroline and I were riding the bus home, when I heard someone speaking behind me in English. I turned around - because she was obviously an American by the way she was speaking... and it was the lady with the Ergo!!! I was so surprised!!!
So where are all of you German ladies hiding in Frankfurt, wearing your babies in wraps?
